Do You Uber?

Uber  is the new startup company based in San Francisco making a mobile application able to connect passengers with drivers of luxury vehicles for hire.  Its more expensive than a cab but less expensive than a private car service. Anytime  a new service is introduced the company needs to get the word out and usually offers fantastic deals to get you on board.  Same holds true for Uber.
They are offering a $20 sign on credit coupled with an Amazon local offer to receive $25 more in free ride credit for a total $45 ride.  Sometimes I don't want a cab, actually I avoid cabs if at all possible but I'm willing to give this Uber service a try especially for a $45 dollar free ride.  The Amazon local offer  linked above is for Boston but the credit can be used in any city Uber is offered.  The Amazon offer must be redeemed by August 3, 2013 and is for new Uber members only.
Use this link to sign up for Uber and you'll receive a $20 credit but only until July 7 (after that the credit drops to $10) then use the Amazon link above to receive the additional $25 credit just make sure you DO NOT use Amazon's link to apply the Amazon code, go back to your newly established Uber account under the promotions heading and apply the Amazon code.  In order to receive the full $45 credit the order described above must be followed.  Then download the Uber app on your smartphone and your ready to  call up a car.
Your credit card is stored with Uber so no money exchanges hands, a 20% gratuity is automatically added and you just receive a receipt.  I have several airport transfers coming up and a few in city transports so I plan to try it out.  Uber is not for everyone.  And promotions abound so feel free to research if you plan to try out the service.
